Jan 24, 2019 · I called Optum RX customer service number from their site and the rep said they don't call and request a call back with a 7 digit code. Caller: Optum rx Call type: Scam suspicion I filed complaints with Federal Reserve and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I filed with them and BBB. I finally got my refund 4 months later. Having to deal with Optum was the worst! They should not be allowed to be in business. Optum RX does not call clients without prior consent; and if a representative calls, a message is always left. The caller to my number is a robocaller and/or scam caller. I should add that I have notified Optum RX of the problem.

OPtum rx sent notice in December re: my mother's RX for Ranitidine = can cause cancer. Stop taking. I called OPtum & they refuse to provide coverage for the replacement drug Famotidine. I called our MD who states they called in a replacement. Optum states they never recived the request for a new Rx and still refuses to cover the Famoditinde. 2. Time is of the essence when you notice suspicious activity on any of your accounts. Act fast when your personal information gets compromised.
